ACTIVIES:
The format will consist of group teaching during the mornings plus one to one sessions and more optional classes/ group work in the afternoon. Or you can opt to take some time out to explore Padstow and the surrounding area. Plus of course take part in our legendary evening jam sessions! The teaching material is tailored to suit all abilities from relative beginners to intermediate and above. It will feature a wide range of material taken from Classic Pop/Folk/ Rock/Indie/Country material. We will cover some finger style, strumming techniques, simple scales, useful theory, and a whole lot of tips and tricks designed to take your playing to the next level. The teaching material is aimed primarily at acoustic instruments but electric guitar players are also very welcome to take part. The whole retreat is designed to be fun first and inclusive without any pressure or competition. You’ll go home with a bunch of new songs and techniques to re-invigorate your practice and playing.
