Hot off the press…..Guitar Retreats has been in the news recently, we were chosen for inclusion in the Times Newspaper list of top 30 cultural holidays in 2020 for our Songwriting Retreat in France this September. Wow! What an unexpected accolade, people come on our retreats for many different reasons but we never imagined we would be praised for spreading culture too!
It’s what you’ve all been asking for and now here they are! We think they are awesome! Especially because the images have been designed by GR regular and friend David Lines who took the photo of palms and guitars on our recent Guitar Retreat in Portugal. We have two designs called Plectrum and Palm and currently three colours to choose from but we will be adding more. The main image in the two designs features Stu on the left and Gail on the right. Gail came all the way from Alaska for her first guitar retreat, ended up unexpectedly in a photo shoot and now she’s on our T-shirt… you can’t make this stuff up! Thanks Gail, I think you’ve earned yourself a T-shirt 🙂
We are really happy with the look and feel of these T-shirts. They are being made locally by a small family business and are high quality ink prints that shouldn’t fade or crack over time. They will be available to buy at retreats and online through our website very soon.
Hot off the press…..We are chuffed and delighted that Guitar Retreat’s teacher and local Bude legend, the amazing James Dixon, has just announced he is going on a European tour with the one and only Seasick Steve! We couldn’t be happier for James, he really is such a talented musician and this recognition is proof in itself and justly deserved. Lucky for us he’ll be back in time to teach ACOUSTIC ROOTSfor us in November again. I expect he will have some great tour stories to share!!
