Our tutor Sam is passionate about this style of music and has taught hundreds of players the secrets of getting to grips with this exciting genre. He firmly believes that anyone no matter what their musical background or skill level can have a go and join in. Dont be put off by the word 'JAZZ' there wont be any music to read or complicated theory to understand before you can play! All the content will be explained simply and informally, face to face in a group environment.

You don't need a special type of guitar to start playing Gypsy Jazz either.

This retreat is a great introduction to the use of jazz chords, swinging rhythms and cool phrasing. You are guaranteed to impress your friends back home with your Django style guitar playing!
